DETAILS: Explorers direct, control and park vehicles at area events like Parades, Concerts, Emergency scenes,Etc.
Explorers provide security at events by patroling parking areas, and scene management. In the event they witness a crime taking place, they report directly to an officer in the area.

ACTIVITIES: Explorers get together for activities during free time as a post or will sponsor a multi-post event like Ski-day, Rock Climbing, Camping, Etc.
TRAINING: Explorers train and are instructed by police officers in the field. Training includes use of radios, Motor Vehicle and Criminal Law, Control and Restraint tactics, and Patrol Procedures. Explorers assist the police officers at Firearms Training with range maintenance, target deployment, and clean up. With Instructors at hand they even get some shooting in!
RIDE-ALONGS: Explorers ride along with Officers while on regular patrol.
