Middlebury Police Explorer Post 613 is looking for young men and women between the ages of 13 ½ and 21.

Explorering builds pride, self esteem, character, discipline, respect for others, and a sense of belonging to a community.

Explorer Posts are a Co-Ed program featured by the Boy Scouts of America, Learning for Life program, and sponsored by an agency.

Explorer Post 613 is sponsored by the Middlebury Police Department. (www.middleburypolice.org)

Explores meet weekly for two hours. Officers are mentors to the Explorer.

• Rope climbing
• Ride Along with Officers
• Involved with Officer Training
• Emergency at scene assistance
• Security and Traffic control at community events

Meetings are 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
